Dr. Michael Harrison graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in 1977. Prior to studying at dental school, he graduated from Hendrix University. Dr. Michael Harrison has studied extensively at the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry.

He has been in his current location on the south side of Hot Springs since 1998 and has been practicing in the city of Hot Springs since 1978. Dr. Harrison has studied hundreds of hours of continuing education, most of which have focused on comprehensive restorative care for the entire dentition. These courses include treatment of TMJ disfunction, full mouth reconstruction, and placement of cosmetic and implant restorations.

Dr. Harrison is from Brinkley, AR, He currently lives in Hot Springs with his wife, Mary, and cat, Tigger. Besides his son Dr. Stephen Harrison, he and Mary, his wife of over 30 years, have two other children, Kevin and Kristen.
